Sacred Heart Food Pantry, Middleboro, MA
The Sacred Heart Food Pantry is preparing to assist families in Middleboro, Lakeville, Rochester, and Carver who may face increased food insecurity due to the impending loss of SNAP benefit payments.

How to Receive Assistance
To help families register with the pantry, we will be holding special registration hours on
Monday, November 3rd, from 8:30–11:30 AM and
3:00–6:00 PM at:
Sacred Heart Food Pantry, 53 Oak Street, Middleboro

After completing registration, families can begin visiting the pantry during our regular hours of operation:
• 1st four Saturdays of each month: 8:30–11:00 AM
• 1st & 3rd Wednesdays: 8:30–11:00 AM
• 2nd & 4th Wednesdays: 4:00–6:30 PM
Families only need to bring identification for all household members being registered.
The amount of food distributed is based on household size.
In addition to food assistance, our Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference, which operates the pantry, offers other forms of support — including our Giving Tree Program, we are now registering families to receive Christmas gifts for their children.

How the Community Can Help
We anticipate a significant increase in the need for food assistance and are asking our community to help us meet that demand.

1. Monetary donations are especially helpful right now. They allow us to:
• Purchase food in bulk at reduced prices
• Respond quickly to specific needs
• Provide grocery store gift cards, which give families flexibility and support local businesses also affected by the loss of SNAP payments.

The Sacred Heart Food Pantry is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in need throughout our community.
The Food Pantry recently received a generous donation from the North Easton Savings Bank.

A new van is making the work of the Sacred Heart Food Pantry a bit easier. The previous one, purchased in 2013, had finally become beyond repair. The graphics are a shout out to 4 of our biggest local supporters. Each week, the van transports an average of 2500 pounds of donated food from the local area stores, Hannaford, Trucchi’s, Shaw’s and Cumberland Farms.
